First and foremost thing to do is to make sure that you really own your domain name. Not a silly advice if you know what we are talking about. Have a two or three tier verification process in place with your registrar in case you need to make any update to your details. For those who do not trust even their shadow, they can go and to get their own ICANN registrar accreditation.

Pricing for all new .INFO domain name for an End User has come down to Rs. 121/= (plus / minus Rs. 15 depending on the Registrar). Earlier .INFO domain names were being sold in range of Rs. 450/= to Rs. 500/=.

Pricing for any new .IN domain name for an End User has come down to Rs. 200/= (plus / minus Rs. 50 depending on the Registrar). Earlier second level .IN domain names were being sold at Rs. 800/= and third level .IN domain names were sold for Rs. 450/=.

To transfer your domains OUT of a Registrar (referred as Loosing Registrar), you have to get your own AUTH-INFO code from the Registrar Company. Some companies provide it within their control panel while some may send it to your email.
