In today’s wired life everyone has an email id. And every one having an email id is prone to SPAM emails. Sometimes its frustrating to search one genuine email out of hundreds junk mail. Though each and every service provider, be it Hotmail or Yahoo! or Gmail or your ISP or your website host, tries to keep spam level to minimum by using various tools. But, this is a cat and rat game between spammers and service providers. Most of the times all anti spam measures fail to detect and filter all spam mails.
What the Problem is?
Mostly in India and moreover all over the world, it’s a rampant practice followed by so called web designers to register their client’s domain names with their own (web designers and not clients’) details. This is a complete lose-lose situation for clients. So called web designers’ first motive is to ensure that they take control of their clients’ domain names so that the client has no choice but to stay with the same designer, or lose his domain name in the process.
In last few years domain registry companies have seen customers taking away their .COM / .NET domains freely to other registrar. In the process some frauds also happened. To put a full stop to all this ICANN has made it mandatory for all domain transfers to be supported by a mandatory AUTH-INFO Code (or Transfer Authorization Secret).
While most of the domain TLDs (like .com / .net / .in) expires as per its registration date, rules are different in case of .UK domain names. The .UK domains expiring on any day of a given month should be renewed or deleted before the 25th of the same month.
